Thank you for visiting StatForge (the "Platform"), operated by StatForge, Inc. ("we," "us" or "our") and made available to you, the person or entity who accesses and/or uses it ("you" or "your") subject to these Terms of Service (these "Terms").
IMPORTANT NOTICE
THESE TERMS CONSTITUTE A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND US. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM OR ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CEASE ANY ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE PLATFORM.
1. Platform Overview
StatForge is a decentralized achievement verification and community building platform that operates on blockchain technology. The Platform enables users to:
- Verify real-world achievements through community consensus
- Participate in local guilds and communities
- Engage in governance through token ownership
- Create and participate in achievement verification
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all terms and conditions described herein.
3. Achievement Verification System
3.1. Verification Process
- Achievement claims require staking of tokens as specified in the Platform
- Evidence must be submitted to support achievement claims
- Community consensus determines verification outcomes
- Verification decisions are recorded on the blockchain and are permanent
3.2. Future Identity Verification
We may implement Know Your Customer (KYC) verification requirements for certain Platform features, particularly for achievement claims related to specific individuals or entities. Users will be notified of any such requirements before implementation.
4. Guild System
4.1. Guild Creation and Management
- Guild creation requires token staking
- Guild visibility is determined by stake amount and reputation
- Guilds may organize in-person or virtual meetings
- Guild organizers are responsible for ensuring venue permissions
4.2. Liability for Guild Activities
We are not responsible for:
- Safety or conduct at guild meetings
- Venue permissions or restrictions
- Interactions between guild members
- Any losses or damages resulting from guild activities
5. Wallet Security and Responsibilities
5.1. Wallet Security
IMPORTANT: We will never ask for your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords through email, phone, Discord, or any other communication channel. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials.
5.2. User Responsibilities
- Secure storage of private keys and passwords
- Verification of all transactions before signing
- Payment of gas fees and transaction costs
- Understanding of blockchain operations
6. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, features, and functionality, including but not limited to:
- Achievement verification algorithms
- Guild ranking systems
- Level calculation methods
- User interface and designs
- Smart contracts and protocols
are the exclusive property of StatForge, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Data Protection
7.1. Data Usage
We are committed to protecting your privacy and will never sell your personal data to third parties. Your information is used solely for Platform functionality and will not be shared without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
7.2. Blockchain Data
Information recorded on the blockchain is permanent and public. Users should carefully consider what information they choose to submit for verification.
8. Risk Disclosure
Use of the Platform involves substantial risk, including but not limited to:
- Cryptocurrency price volatility
- Smart contract risks
- Regulatory uncertainty
- Technical vulnerabilities
- Market liquidity risks
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in accordance with its rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of arbitration shall be [Jurisdiction TBD].
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
